Hello. I'm the proud owner of an `08 Cross Bones. After six months without a ride, due to surgery to reapir a torn bicep tendon, I'm finally ready to get back in the saddle!!!! In preparation for this, I recently purchased a Saddleman Explorer seat. I know the issues some have expressed regarding comfort etc, but for me, the comfort and styling are great. My problem, which extends to all seats, and many other HD items as well is, the lack of detailed instructions, diagrams, videos etc. We all know that there are always little, and sometimes big issues that arise when adding or modifying parts on our bikes. Still, the support material always seems to be lacking or wholly inadequate. Am I going to run into problems installing this seat in place of the stock spring seat?

Thanks for any suggestions or comments you can share.

I don't see why you would have a problem if it's a simple switch out and you purchased the correct seat for you bike. Good luck and welcome to the forum from NYS
