Harley for dummies?
Is there a resource that explains the various models and model lines that Harley offers? I'm looking into buying my first bike, and I'd like it to be a Harley, but I can't seem to make heads or tails of the differences in the various model lines, especially among the softtail line, or what is different in a Road King versus a Road King Classic, or why the Dyna is suggested as a better beginner bike than the Sportster, etc?
Anyone have good resources? I'm cool reading a lot, I just haven't been able to find any good, layman's type resources.

Welcome to the HD Forums from Texas.
Go to the Harley website. There's a picture of most all of the models they sell.

Welcome to the forum from ND. The Harley website will give you a breakdown on the different bikes and what makes them different. There are different sections here for each type of bike. You can ask specific questions there.

Welcome to the Forum from Colorado!
Big Twin over Sportster for balance purposes. Sportsters seem to have a high center of gravity. Softails for cruising (mostly). Though I'm not afraid to push mine. Lots of info in here.
