Does anyone know if the radio interface (where the Zumo interupts the radio) can be turned on or off selectively???

It has no turn off that I am aware of. When I installed the fairing mounting hardware on my new bike, I choose not to use the interface. I had it on my previous bike and did not like it, since it would get stuck open to the GPS, and take to long to switch back. Sometimes it just didn't switch back! I just had it hooked up directly to my Aux port, since I usually listen to music loaded on a Micro SD card, on my GPS. Also I don't recommend the 665 since the XM Radio doesn't good reception. The XM antenna is bigger than a freaking hockey puck, and only place to mount it is under the fairing cap. An XM antenna for a car is smaller than a half dollar, but Garmin & Harley can't figure out how to size things for a motorcycle.
