Hi all,
Just traded my 02 Fboy in on a 2013 FLHR. I loved the Fatboy, but this new touring frame and 103" motor are great. Handles like a bike should. My Fboy was lowered 2" so the floorboards scraped constantly. I'm 5"6" so I did lower the RK already by 1 1/2" but still have lots more ground clearance than the Fboy did. LongRideShields 16" tinted on order, cleared the front turn/fender lens, installed the rear run/stop/turn lens and module (hate orange lights), got the shock pump, installed the chrome fork baffle (just to see if it works with the new shield). Had the Fboy for 8 1/2 years, 1st Harley, never ride anything else now. Learned to ride on dirt bikes in the South Jersey woods, 1st street bike RD350, then a Kaw H500, then the Z900 monster. Fun bikes and fast, but now that I'm a little older and hopefully smarter I like the HD sound and ride. That's it for now - great forum, I've already learned lots form just reading over the last few weeks. Ride Safe.
