I'm a 27 yo guy from Phoenix. I' a gearhead and have been craving a motorcycle. Most of my experience had been on sport bikes but want to pick up A new iron 883 with this years taxes. I love the minimalist and throwback style of it and plan to mod the **** out of it. I'm a Marine combat vet also and plan to go on some cruises with fellow vets.
I didn't mention in my other post, but I love riding with my buddies and riding with vets I met. Last year a buddy and I went on a Purple Heart ride that was sponsored by the Combat Vets Association.
A couple of the CVMA members invited us to ride with them for the Purple Heart Memorial Ride, we had a great time, met some really awesome people from all branches of service and from many different states. I plan on joining the Combat Vets Association after this tour in Afghanistan.
