After 25 years of riding Yamahas I finally saved up the dough for my first Harley, at age 41. Just got me a 1999 Fat Boy with a 2005 S& S motor, & Andrews cams. No financing BS, I own it and LOVE IT.
The Harley vibrates a lil' more than the 96 CI Roadstar I rode before, so I just put on some iso grips. Now looking for some more comfortable bars. The stock ones are a kind of 10 inch mini apes with an angle at the wrist I don't really like. On previous bikes a had T bars, but with the controls integrated into the risers it seems like to much hassle. Z bars? riser mounted drag bars? Any suggestions?
Also, I'd like to move the floorboards / controls forward an inch or two, suggestions are welcome.
