Evening,
I figured I would introduce myself, I'm not only new to the forum, I'm new to riding. I've wanted a Harley for as long as I can remember. My dad rode when I was young but had to get rid of his bike when my mother got sick. I still remember that rumble of him coming up the driveway though, some things stick with you for life. Anyway I have been saving for a bike for the better part of ten years. Things just kept coming up where we needed the money for something else. These past years have been very good though and I was able to sock away enough that the bike was at last a reality! I went in looking for a 1200 custom but saw my bike and knew she was coming home with me. It's used but I've never needed new things, used has character as far as I'm concerned. That's the background anyway.
