Hi all, I just got back into riding after a eight or maybe ten year break. Just bought a 1996 FXDL last week and can't wait to put some miles on her. Before that I had a 87 soft tail the I bought new and rode for about 15 years or so. I had a motorcycle only licence up until I was 26 when I finally got my first cage.

Thanks for the welcome y'all...I know ya guys who live in the cold climes don't wanna hear this but it has either been raining or too cold for me to do much riding since I got the new scoot last week. I kept myself busy with the bike by taking off the chrome covers that we're on the chrome parts , adjusting mirrors and tightening everything down. I also have laid down about four coats of Zaino Bros Car Polish on the tins and all that chrome but that's gett'en old I need to ride. The PO had a thing for spiders apparently...he had a total of nine covers ,all with webs and three decals on that beautiful pearl paint. I am keeping two small web pieces as they are functional and gonna learn to live with the decals because I don't wanna risk fk'en up the paint. Anyways, glad to be here !

Riding has been a little challenging over the last week. Today was pretty cold but we still put on a hundred miles. Got to keep movin...
