RE: I'm trying to fund my Harley
Why decide??? Buy one of each!!
Take you time, and good luck. Look at your past riding experience andwhat kind of riding you want to do. Whichbike really catches your eye. Make sure you are going to a dealer with a good selection. You want to see all of them at one place at one time.
GOOD LUCK!!!!

Welcome!
I thought this was a thread asking for suggestions on how to fund your harley purchase. I was going to tell my story which is quite comically but worked.
maybe next time
Enjoy your stay

Smitty, actually I am going about this with help from the internet. I started a website asking folks to donate a dollar and am going to see how far that will take me over let's say the next 6 months. I think that if I can get the word out, that I might have a decent shot at paying for one. Check out my site www.ronsdollarride.com and let me know what you think. I really need to readdress my goal though, $30k is going to be way too much unless I go with a full dresser with all the accessories or go with a full custom build.
I have this spot in my heart for the Sportster and absolutely love the new Nightster. What I keep telling myself is that the last motorcycle that I had (about 100 years ago seems like) was only a 750. With the Sportsterbeing a1200, this is byfar the largest motor that I would have even riden to date.
