Default New guy in Phoenix with a 48

Hey all, my name is Jon. I just traded in my Triumph Speed Triple 1050 for a 2012 big blue pearl 48 about a week ago. I'm really digging the look of the bike, but it rides like crap for a heavy guy like myself at 285lbs. So 12" Progressive 412 HD's are already on the way. Along with a Vance and Hines V02 air intake. I've got a coil and key relocate waiting for me to install on my days off. I'm also tucking the wires up and getting rid of all that plastic crap under the tank. I ordered a solo seat with memory foam from Sik Saddles for $150. I've been on a 200 mile ride with the stock seat and it sucks. The forward controls are killing my back, so I got some mids off a Nightster. I may just use the mids as extra foot pegs and leave the controls in front. Or vice versa. I need to get some fishing line to remove my front reflectors. The next big decision is whether or not to put some 14" or 16" apes on it. I've never riden a bike with apes, and it's a pretty expensive experiment if I don't like it.

Here's my 81 Honda project:

The rest of them(except the Speed Triple I traded in):

It's your coil and F6 key relocation I bought. Along with some plug wires. I couldn't believe how fast you shipped them. I think I got them to my PO Box in Arizona in two days.

Welcome from Snottsdale. Took my reflectors off the other day. Tried fishing line on one and didn't think it worked all that great. Left it parked in the sun for a few and then used a wooden shim I had handy to pry it off. Once off the adhesive rolled off with my fingers.
