Hello from Arizona. Recently bought a '78 FXS, converted to FL by PO. Looks similar to the '79 FLH I bought new in '79 (after being stupid and selling my '51 Pan.)
Interested in conversions to make this bike reliable.
It has an unknown make of heads, not S&S and not stock the only ID is a stamped 78 above the spark plug hole. It came with an S&S E, a Crane IH-4 ign, a Sifton 102 cam with unknown make of solids that are scored and a broken plastic breather gear.
I've replaced the breather, added belt drive primary and am waiting for an Andrews J cam (be here in 2 days) & bikers choice lifter upgrade kit (currently out of stock!!).
Any help would be appreciated. My brother is on here somewhere but I don't know his handle.
