5000 Mile Service $$$ How Much??
First time owning a Harley, first time on the forum. My FXD is due for its 5,000 service at the dealership....what's a ballpark estimate on how much I can expect to pay?

Welcome to the Forum from the Great Lakes State. The new members area is for introductions. You'll stand a better chance of getting answers ( most of them correct, by the way ) by checking in the area that applies to your specific type of scooter. Can't say about Virginia but in Michigan the service is around $360.00

example (from dealership/indy shop service menu boards)
Dealership "A" $536
Dealership "B" $235
Dealership "C" $230
Indy shop "D" $350
Indy shop "E" $240
I'm "lucky" to have 4 dealerships within one hour, AND several indy shops as near. Also.. ask how long they take to do a service. Some will offer same day service, or even while you wait.. and others might want to hold your bike for days.
I'd suggest buying a "service manual" and taking on the small easy jobs at first.
