Hi there!
Hello all. I wanted to introduce myself to the group. I've actually posted once on another page, but I figured I'd follow protocal and come here before I continue. I do hope I'm welcome here. I have a specific reason for being a part of your forum. You see, I am a Harley-Davidson Dealer.
I've read a lot of your horror stories about how you've been treated in many dealerships, and I can see it happening. I'm here to learn from you. My history, I have been in the Harley-Davidson business for over 20 years now. Ours is a family business, which I am a partner with my brothers. Dad has retired. We were enthusiasts before the dealership, and continue to be to this day.
Like you, I love the Harley-Davidson motorcycle. I love the lifestyle. I love the people. I understand. I'm not here to sell anything. I'm here to listen, learn, and offer comments to your broad array of topics. I spend a lot of time talking to Harley people. I've constantly adjusted the way we do business to always acheive better ways to serve your needs. I've read about a lot (and personally experienced) a lot of the arrogance many of you describe. Yes, it's out there, but it's not everywhere. I again hope you will allow me to be a part of this group and to engage with you on many different levels and about many different subjects. Perhaps mutually we can shed light on many things.
