Hey, thanks for all the replies, now I feel welcome!!!!
Will post up some pics of the Islands.
Long distance riding is okay here, as long as you don't mind going round in circles. But seriously you can easily ride all day over the mountain pass roads which are spectacular and sometimes very scary. The limiting factor being the stock Harley seat. Man that thing is a major pain in the butt.
Hitting Europe via the ferry in a week or so...............
Bit worried about taking bike on ferry though, although it was bought over on the ferry by the dealership from another Island just before I bought it, but still worried.......

Photos of Canary Islands as promised.
My g/f took these over the last 6 years.
It only rains here at sea level in January or Feb, and mostly never gets below 15deg c, but when it rains it really rains, washed the beaches away year before last.
Mountain and mountain roads get snow as late as May some years.
Enjoy.
