Finally, the Rock has gone HD!
What's up everyone?
I hope all is well and your bikes are not in the shop and running well...
I just picked up my first Harley, 2000 sportster 1200C, it is totally stock except for some VHS short shots - it HAD 4500 when I bought it 3 days ago, it's around 4750 now.
Looking forward to gaining knowledge from all the experts here, I already ordered a stage 1 AC and jet kit. It has a lot of exhaust, so I figured it needs a lot of air breath! Pick up a set of used progressive 440's from my bud in a local bike shop for a steal.
I just changed the oil, noticed all the header bolts were loose, with one missing
I tightened those as tight as I could, need to get a torque on them, but I'm going check them after each ride.

Welcome to the forum and welcome to Harley Davidson. Get you a tool bag on that XL and tighten frequently. I had a pipe fall completely off on the highway on my AMF/HD 77 XL. They sound a lot better with the head pipes on, Haha!
