Howdy, y'all. I'm not a HD owner yet, but I hope to be by the end of the year. I just started riding a few months ago. I bought a cheap little girl bike off of Craig's List (2003 Honda Shadow Spirit 750CC) because I knew I'd throw it down a few times before I really got the hang of things. I've already had one ditch jump out in front of me. So for now, I'll stick with my little girl bike until I build up my road confidence and experience and then buy the bike that I really want. I am hoping to get either a Street Bob or a Softail Slim. I think my heart is set on the SB, but not sure yet.
I am joining the forums now so I can see what all I am getting myself into and what my options are as far as making the bike MINE.
