Wanting a bike
#11
In order to properly match you with the proper bike for your frame, we'll need to see pic of you in a bikini...preferably from the front AND back...
Seriously, if you've never ridden before, start off with an MSF or RiderEdge course. From there you can assess your skills and the bike you are truly comfortable with.
There are those that will say that you should start on a metric or a small bike like a Sportster, but only you can decide what bike you want to start out with. I started on my Road King and I never looked back. I didn't see the point in starting on "throw-away" bikes when I knew what I eventually wanted to be on. I started slow with plenty of respect for the power and weight. My bike is now my daily commuter.
