Just bought me a Iron!
Hey all, great forums from what I've read so far. Thought I'd take a quick minute to introduce myself.
I'm Randy, I'm from northern Ohio and I'm quite proud of my new to me 2010 883 Iron.
I had an 82 Suzuki 550 about 5 yrs ago, rode close to 500mi's in 1 summer after getting it street worthy(for the most part). I ended up selling that over that winter, and only rode a bike here and there in a parking lot for the past few yrs. Made the decision this spring that I wanted to get back onto 2 wheels this summer, and I'm so glad I did. Took the motorcycle riders class, got my license and bought a Harley all within 3 weeks.
I do have plans for this bike, but that will probably won't be for a few months or next spring, for money or experience reasons.
Thanks

Cograts on the purchase! Welcome to the club.
I rode Yamahas when I was younger, and after a 25 year hiatus from riding I bought a Harley.... Always knew I would ride again and on a Harley, I just didn't know it'd be after 25 years. Did a 3 mountain pass ride yesterday and had a blast!

Thanks everyone. I'm still thrilled to even look at my bike sitting in the garage. Too bad I couldn't ride it this weekend, but as long as it doesn't rain, I'll be on it!
After reading several topics on here I now know I have way more customization options when I'm ready to spend that $$$.
