RE: Hello
Howdy Y'all,
Here is the post I just made in the General Forums:
I am trying to figure out what I need to check on a friends fathers Harley Davidson thatwas involved in an accident on Friday. After his shift at the plant my friends dad was riding home. Somehow, he lost control of the motorcycle at the Texas City Wye. The bike slid in the mud at about 40mph. It then hit a divot in the mud, causing the bike to flip over. Bob couldn't get away from the bike when it flipped, and it rolled over him.
I got the bike Saturday morning and began cleaning all the mud off it, in hopes of getting it fixed by the time his dadgot out of the hospital.
The exhaust pipes and front fender are broken, as well as the headlight. The front forks are damaged, because the handlebars have about 3 inches of play. The tank is dented and fairly scratched-up, but that isn't so important right now.
Unfortunately my friends father took a turn for the worse Saturday night, and passed-away.So nowI'm trying to get it running again somy friendcan ride it to his fathers funeral service.
What things should I be looking for? I have rebuilt many cars in the past, but this is no car.
