Skips Intro to forum and Sturgis Travel Advice
G’Day folks,
Just a quick intro of myself, been riding bikes forever (old fart), my club name is Skip. I am a life member of HOG currently not link to any chapter due to work, member of Abu Dhabi Exile MC. I have two bikes (not boasting - just worked long and hard enough to get there) my 96 Heritage is back home in Perth Western Australia and I have just bought a 2009 SERG which is at my daughter place in Houston. I have only seen pictures of the bike, not touched or ridden it yet; my son-in-law is doing that job at the moment. I will riding the SERG to Sturgis this year starting from Houston and staying in Lead SD. Any advice on trip/travel time, DO’s/DON’Ts etc. and good places to stop along the way will be most welcome. So far I have given myself three days to ride from Houston to Sturgis.
