HELP! My father passed away & left me his bike but i need help I don't know anything about his pride and joy bike! I thought it was a Harley-Davidson but the vin dose not have a H-D in it. I tried to start the bike and the starter half worked? So all I know is that it has a 100 inch Revtech motor but when I look up parts nothing comes up dose anyone know why or is there a cross over chart? PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL AND APPRECIATED.

 

Welcome to the forum. It would be nice to have some pics to go by. I will say VINs on HD always begin with 1HD,so the frame itself isn't a Harley frame. Of course with the RevTech motor,that doesn't really narrow it down,it could be a 100 different makes.

 

Need pics. It could be an indian or an Illusion, south county chopper, etc. There should be a file on the bike in his papers. It will have receipts and documents. Also check the vin with his registration. Any Insurance agent will be able to identify the bike by the vin.

 

I put pictures on my profile because I don't know how to put them in the post. I know that the vin starts with ULT OR JLT the motor is a Revtech 100 inch. I wish I new more about the bike but it was my dads baby and he didn't tell me much

 

That's a custom chopper. Revtech vtwin motor. Do you have the title?

 

O.k. Now I know why it was you dads pride and joy. You can add those pics to your signature, or profile pic. If you need parts they will be in the big or fat book. Yes there are references to crossover those parts. Why not start with a charger. Just relax and spend some time researching the bike. You can call any Manufacture and they will help you...including revtech. I am assuming you have a M license and are proficient at riding. Again, find the paper work. You can not license a bike without it.

Thanks everyone for the help! Well my dad left me the bike but " his 3rd wife " will not give me any of the paper work untell I pay her what it is worth! She is a money hungry bit@# she's mad becase my dad loved that bike maybe more then her . So I live in WA and I have to take a weekend course to get my endorsemet
