Default sportster 4 oldster?
Alohaz from Hawaii. I'm 61 years old and have the bug to get a Sportster and ride a bit on this island. I haven't had a motorcycle since I was in my twenties and even then didn't ride very much. I'm taking the safety class before I buy anything, but am wondering if I should get a smaller bike first to learn on. I really want to go straight to the Sportster, I am very much aware that I am not bullet proof like I thought I was in my twenties, do you think I'm friking nutz?

Welcome to the forum from sunny South Florida! and yes i would definitely recommend going straight to the sportster smaller lighter a good all round choice

Get the Sporty mudshark. Had two of them and loved the handling and ride.
