Welcome from MD! I ride to Columbus once in awhile to visit my brother. Lots of riders in your area and lots of good places to ride. Last time I was there (Fall - 2011) I got very familiar with the Local American Legion which has a good amount of bike parking, good food, and cold beer :-)
