Hola From Sand Diego, Can I make the Switch?
I started riding when I was about eight years old. Since 1980 (& my RD 400) I have always had a street bike. Mostly Ducati's , BMW Sport Tourer's & Japaneses sport bikes. My current ride is a KTM 990 Super Motard - I've never owned an HD. I'm turning 51 this year and for the last 6 months I just can't stop thinking about the 103 Fat Bob. I'm just about ready to buy one, but I'm more than a little concerned it may not be right for me. I love the look, engineering, and build quality of the Fat Bob and I'm ready to ease off my standard pace (& loose some riding buddies in the process), but I really like to ride (mostly in the mountains) and I'd like to hear from other riders who have made the transition from Sport Bikes to HD's.

PS - I'm renting a Fat Bob next Friday and I plan on riding it all day on mixed route of about 250 miles.
