Hi Springer
The riding in Scotland can be very good, there are some great roads!

However on the island I live on the roads are mainly single/double track with a lot of hidden dangers, like sheep, loose surfaces and bends that just keep coming, and thats scary on a single track with nowhere to go but a ditch.
Makes for interesting riding and there is some spectacular scenery.

And the weather is crap most of the time!!

Cheers Shovit

Howdy Shovit, thanks for the reply. I believe that each of us has driving conditions or areas where we ride that others would like to experience. I've talked to some in England, Wales, Austrailia and now Scotland. I think that mainly because the terrain is different, but I would like to be able to ride and see the countryside in some of the areas that I have mentioned. I don't normally have a need for speed, so just cruising around at the speed that the road dictates would be fine with me. Enjoy the ride

Greetings! thanks for the pictures - Some excellent bikes there - if it is not too pushy can we get one of the zebra truck you have in the background? What's going on with that?

Hurt me to see that Sporty all burned up, glad you're back on the road. Keep us posted on your project bike.

Hi Kess
Will try and dig out a picture of the Zebra truck.
I dont think it would be a model familiar to America, its a UMM 4x4 built in Portugal,Peugeot engine,Jeep axles,4mm steel chassis and 2mm steel body panels.
As for the paint job,my wife took a tin of black paint to it one night and did the stripes free hand, you could allways find it in a car park after that, and the kids named it the UGLIBUS!

But one thing that was for sure,in an accident the crumple zone was the other car

Cheers
