Mr. Potato Head says Hi
Guess I better introduce myself, although it's a bit bassackwards at this point. Been ridin' for a little while, but have only owned metrics till June of last year. My old sled, a Vulcan 1500, developed a second mechanical issue last April, and since it's first issue happened in July of '10, I freaked. Told the Old Lady I was gonna sell it and buy a used KLR650.
Well, she had bought herself a FLSTC in March, and was really gettin' into the whole HD thing- apparently the thought of ridin' down the road next to her Old Man all decked out in Lime Green ridin' some "enduro on steriods" thingie was less than appealing. Next thing I know, bam, I'm sitting on an FXDB
I'ts a pretty good motorcycle just judged on it's own merits, minus the HD mystique. Still, the stock machine is in need of some improvement; this forum is invaluable in terms of the knowledge of it's respective members- everything I've done to the FXDB so far I learned about here- and for that I say thank you
