Hello 916yep,
Welcome to the forum. Regardless of whether you’re a new rider or you’re someone with decades behind them, there is always something new to learn. There is a massive amount of information available on this forum. If there is something you are looking for just ask, there are many people here that willingly share their knowledge and experience.
Since you have identified yourself as a new rider, I feel the need to throw my 2cents in. Take it for what it’s worth. While most riders I’ve met feel the first thing to do is change out the exhaust to get that special sound, I see this as a mistake. To me safety is far more important. I won’t ride a bike without an air horn. Last year alone, I’ve used the horn to stop cages from coming into my lane. Also converting the rear blinkers into brake/run/turn lights will make you more visible from the rear. Both of these can be done for under $100 and 30 minutes work.
