thanks to every one who took the time to make me feel very welcome. Its been 2 weeks now since i got a 2012 iron 883, as stated earlier i was going for a streetbob but that deal fell through and i eventually bought the 883. I have not had time to do much riding on the 883 so its only done like about 39miles and i fitted a street bob handle bar(12"rise) at about 10miles as i ordered it for the bike. I will post a pic very soon(as soon as i know how). I like its performance and dont think i will be upgrading it as its power is sufficient for riding here and i have other bikes more suitable for high speeds than the cute lil Harley. It gets a lot of attention as Harleys at this point are very rare here.
