We were in Jamaca a couple of years ago and we were told that the law would not allow any motorcycle over 650cc. That was why there were no HD dealers there. Have the laws changed since then?

Sorry for the delay in responding. Yes, since about 1990 there is import restriction on motorcycles over 700cc, it was 600cc, then recently revised to 700cc and i think it will eventually be relaxed for the cruiser bikes. In the time being if u really want a motorcycle exceeding 700cc u can apply throught the National Security ministry and they will review the application and if they see fit they will give you permission to import the motorcycle(kinda treated like a concealed firearm permit). This is why there are not many ligit litre and over bikes here as very few people want to go that route. My Harley will be imported here through the ligitimate channel.
