Hello everyone. I'm from the thumb of Michigan where we are on hold for awhile due to the weather. I've been lurking around here for awhile trying to learn from those who have knowledge and experience with HD's. I plan on buying my first in the near future so I'm trying to learn everything I can before making my first purchase although I've been helping others wrench on them for quite a few years. I was a quality auditor with one of the big 3 car companies for several years so I came to love the quality of HD. I've also been learning paint, welding etc and had the bug to try some customization ever since I wandered into Ron Finch's shop several years ago (and several more times). I'm thinking Street Glide or Electra Glide right now. I'll probably go used since I plan to try out some of my new skills and that's where I will need to ask some questions in selecting one. I've also ridden my sons beefed up 06 1200C Sportster which is an awesome little bike. Hope to talk to you all down the line.
