New Iron 883 in NC
My name is Joe Yersak and I just got a 2011 Iron 883 a couple weeks ago. Wanted the denim black, but got on hell of a deal on the only one the dealership had in stock (which was yellow). I am interested in trading yellow parts for denim parts if anybody wants yellow or knows somebody who does. I am contemplating between just painting what I have or keeping the stock parts to match VIN and buy used parts and fix and paint. I have plans for the bike, want to make it into a chopper later on (much later when I can actually afford it) so i'm not sure if maintaining matching parts and colors really matter.
This is my first bike. Traded a 2002 Camaro 6 cylinder to get it (still have my 1981 z28). Wanted to save money on gas and look good doing it. My ideal bike is all flat black with a gloss black frame which is why the iron drew my attention so quickly. Now i just need the damned black body parts. lol.
