New Guy from Minneapolis MN
Hello everyone!!
I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum, I have been browsing around the forum for quite awhile now and decided to finally post. I have been riding for about 4 years now and I recently purchased a 2000 Softail Deuce with 23000 miles on it (Lots of Miles), before that I rode a Shadow Ace 750 (now sold). The information on this forum is great and very helpful, thanks so much to all that post!!

Thanks all for the welcome. Question for all you guys, since I just bought my bike (23000 miles on it) what things do you think need to be looked at? I have already changed the fluids so that is done, nothing seems wrong but I want to get the most mileage out of the bike as possible hence I would like to know what to look for. Thanks everyone for your help!!

Welcome to the forums from the Arizona Highlands. I can't help you with your question, but you may have more luck getting an answer if you were to re-post it in the "General Harley Davidson Tech" forum.

Welcome from IL. For starters, I would do the things that are listed for the 1000, 5000, and/or 10,000 mile check-ups. That's not really high mileage, but you do want to check her out good. Also be sure to check the tires and see if you can find out from the previous owner how many miles they have on them.Congrats! Art
