hey, how's it going?
anyway, i'm new here and to the harley family. a previous metric vtwin owner, i've finally made the plunge and i gotta say..i took too long!
my new ride is a 2004 fxstb, lowered 2" and a host of aftermarket goodies. my favorite are the samson pipes!!
here she is, and i hope to learn a bunch whilest here!!

terry...where's charleston,il? i'm about 20 minutes south of carbondale, in anna.
david..honestly i don't know which model pipe, they were on the bike when i bought it, last saturday..lol. but i love the sound. they really mellow out at about 70..but wake u up getting there..hehe

Welcome from central, IL (Bloomington/Normal). I'd like to tell you where Charlestonis. It is the home of Eastern Illinois University and I have a niece attending there, but everytime I look at a map, it looks like you can't get there from here. Besides, when I first got my bike, I did a little around the neighberhood riding without M/C certification and didn't want Terry to catch me. You're our 2nd new member from IL today and there were at least 4 of us before.
Anna's a real nice area, although I hear that some people don't really like to reside in Marion (Isn't that where the prison is?)
Anyway glad to have you aboard. Maybe we'll get to meet up sometime. Art

the fed prison is just outside marion..lol...but ppl are moving there everyday. even getting a minor league baseball team. i work just outside marion for general dynamics-ots. it's actually quite the snobbish place..lol.
my wife is from up around peoria/pekin. so we go up there quite a bit to visit family. we'll definitely have to do an illinois ride.
once again, i want to thank everyone for the warm welcome as i joined another vtwin forum and have yet to even get a hello. so i guess i have found my second internet home, next to my car audio one. (my other expensive hobby)
