My husband bought me my first harley it is a 2006 dyna wide glide. I have been doing several modification with it since we purchased it about 2 months ago. It was reposed and we think that it was sitting near the ocean for several years because of all the rust. I am enjoying modifing it and looking foreward to paining and power coating it this winter.
Right now I am learning how to ride so I am not to worried about the rust. I have replaced the handle bars and pegs, and the handle controls. I am planning on keeping this bike for a very long time, I am also building a custom chopper for my husband so that he will leave mine alone so I can drive more often. I am currently looking for some ideas and parts for my bike but thought I would say hi and let you all know that I have enjoyed reading what you have had to say about the wide glides and that is what made me decide that was what I wanted.
