HiLo and Honeymoon
Hello all.
I have been viewing these forums multiple times a day for over a year now. I have found alot of this information discussed here very helpfull to myself and friends who ride. And alot of entertainment as well.
I'm coming up on 43, live in Oregon, and have owned my Harley Sporteter Nightster since February of last year. I have owned several other streetbikes in the last 15 years, sport and cruiser, and rode quads in the years before that.
My, at that time, fiance decided that I had looked at the Nightster for long enough online (months) so we went in and I took it for a test ride. While I was out, she went and filled out loan papers. Was a real suprise to see the dealers staff all standing out front grinning when I came in, and asking "How do you like your new bike"? I of course said no, don't have the moeny or the credit (twice divorced). They then said "No, you don't understand. She financed it. It's yours if you want it!" Look in my garage you can see what my answer was. She is named Honeymoon because when we bought it, I said "well, there goes our honeymoon". She thought that was quite alright, and we named the bike instead. Snowed on me the next day out on my first ride. We hare happily married now, and we have purchased a Yamaha Virago 250 for her to learn on. Can't think of anything better. Live to Ride!
