Hello from the Mile High City
I thought I said Hello, but I couldn't find my post.
So Hello! from Colorado.
Been ridin' since 1969, crashed a couple of times.
I've been a Musician, Studio owner, made training videos for the DOE, and now I'm a Motorsickle mechanic. I went to the Micky Mouse Institute (MMI) graduated, and moved back to Colorado, couldn't get hired to save my ***, so I started my own Moto Service Business.
Howdy everybody!

Mmi
Hello, NDBadlands4-2
MMI was one of the best things I've ever done!
But it was a whole lot harder than I thought it was going to be. I'd been working on bikes ever since I had one, so I thought I'd fill in some gaps in my knowledge...boy did I have some gaps! Theory was really tough.
Some of the instructors are burn outs, but most of the instructors are phenomenal at what they know. Alot of the bikes are worn out from working on them, but when you get to your 'Major' course of study, that's when it gets cool. Kinda like the saying 'you gotta go to hell to get to heaven' so if you can survive in the beginning and make it to your 'Major' course of study you're going to have a lot of fun.
I wish I had gone when I was young (went there when I was 53).
It does get ridiculously hot in Phoenix in the summer...get ready!
