About 14 of my club made the Gulfport Blowout last year. We came in from the Central Tx area. Had a great time. Medium sized rally run by a local well established club. Drag strip is always great and the local dive bars are pretty good as they have events for the bikers.
Returning to Texas our pack was doing 5 under though La. And still got pulled over and hassled. 5'2" highway patrol was screaming and yelling about us getting out of his state. We were an hour from the Texas line. Told him we would welcome an escort to Texas. That really pissed him off. We probably wont go back to Gulfport, but great small rally.
