Default Anyone have their satin grey primary chromed?
I'm wondering if it's less costly to send out my primary to chrome instead of buying a new one for about $300 and spending right about the same to have the dealer install it.

Check around for chromers on the net. It would probably be cheaper.

What kind of bike do you have? I've got quotes for chroming the primary on my XBones ranging from $135 up to $185. I've also seen these sell on ebay for quite a bit less. For example, if you have a touring bike I have one for sale for only $130 shipped.

I would definitely have a chrome shop quote that. You can keep your OEM part and have a warranty from your chrome shop.
Your cost should be around $100 or so…
