Been riding for 40 plus years nonstop
My love for motorcycles started at an early age when my neighbors sons had motorcycles back in the 60s. For Many years my parenta would read about the wrecks, people getting hurt or killed on motorcycles. When I turned 15 my sister was willing to sign for me to get my first motorcycle and have not stop riding since.
My present motorcycle is a 2002 Ultra Classic that I have ridden to and in including Alaska but 5 states not counting Hawaii as I cannot ride to Hawaii. I hope to get my last five states in the next couple of years. I do not trailer any of my bikes and if you see it on a trailer it is stolen and please call the police ASAP.
Here are some pictures and descriptions over the years.
My first bike a 1970 Honda CB 175
My second bike after my first was stolen and after I customized it a 1971 Honda CL 350
A jerk hit me on my 1971 Honda and I got my first Harley. Even thaw it was a kit start and I had a cast on my leg I started and rode it with the cast. Back then if you had a electric starter you where looked down on. Before I customized it.
After I customized it.
In 1976 I sold my little Harley and bought a 1976 FXE bicentennial.
First picture when I picked it up.
The tank
Before I did anything to it
I rode my 1976 till the late 1980s and here is pictures of what it looked like when I sold it. I stroked it to 84 CI a couple of years after I got it.
This is my 1942 WL 45 I built out of pieces in the early 80s.
This is my 1946u 74 I built out of pieces and was 85% original when I sold it. It was in 13 shows won 22 awards been in 3 magazines and one news paper. I rode it as a daily rider for years and on trips as long as 1,8000 miles. I have restored many motorcycles for others.

This is what I am riding now. She only has 85K on her as from 2006 to 2009 I did not get to ride much. These pictures are from my short rode trip from Macon, GA to Alaska and back. LOL A little over 10K in a month.
A few other bikes I built over the years and rode
I built this for a good friend that is not longer with us.
My 46u and Cushman and a few awards they won.
My 1946U was a daily rider and I rode it to all the shows it was in some over 400 miles away. I all so rode it on road trips up to 1,800 miles.

I had a shop for 13 years and do to being a single parent of 3 girls and not being able to find good reliable help I closed it. I all ways had at least one motor I was building and as many as 14 going at once. I keep all my tools and machines. Here are some pictures of my little machine shop in my basement. I still need to set up ma lathe. I built this press over 35 years ago.

I bow to you sir! That was a terrific intro! We started on essentially the same bikes at the same time. In 1970, I started on a CL175 and 'progressed' in 1971 to a CB350. That lasted about 3 months when I went to Norton Commando, instead of Harley. Many Brit, European and Japanese bikes later, I got my first Harley this year.
Looking at those pictures just reminds me of how much older I am getting, too! Anyways, welcome to the Board.

Another of my projects. I have a all most 6 year old grandson that LOVES to ride. Only problem if me make a long day of it he has a tendency of failing a sleep on the way home. All so his mother had twin boys about 4 months ago so I need to make room for them. I bought this about 6 months ago and hope to install it later this summer and take my oldest grandson to the north Georgia mountains to go camping. It is a 2006.
