There is a law that has winter tires compulsory from December 15 to March 15 for residents. But if you're from out of province or country, you won't get fined riding here. So we can't ride legally a motorcycle before March 16 even if its dry and warm like last year, which was somewhat exceptional since we usually ride end of March or beginning April. And that is after some good rainfall to clear all the salt from the roads.

Sportster is a easy bike to maintain...i had a 05 883C and needed nothing for 2 years and 20000 miles except oil, filter, belt adjust, check plugs, spoke tightness and a tire...I did a stage 1 jet upgrade and bored out my stock mufflers...sounded good and ran like a scalded cat....

Another month before I can really even touch it. Everyone says the same thing tho, I should be able to figure it out. I just have to patient for another month, then I'm gone as much as I can.
Have a blast riding.
Do you get back often?
