low hp high torque

Default low hp high torque

Have a 2010 roadglide 107" ,575 cams, bigger valves, headwork, 58 mm, heavy breather intake, d and d fatcats. nice torque curve peaks @ 127 only 105 hp and drops @5500 and is low all through rpms. found both autolite plugs gapped @.024, crappy mileage too (35mpg) what gives with this lose of hp, pipes too small dia should bigger boarzilla pipes get more hp without losing torque or is the spark plug gap@24 throwin the monkey wrench in there

It would be a good idea to re-post this in a technical section.
