Hello from Brittany
I'm not really a new member, as I've been reading this forum for a year now.
But I never introduced myself: my english is not so bad, but I was afraid it could be not good enough, as it's always easier to read than to write...
Anyway, lets try, and, as we say in France: "better late than never"!
So I'm a frenchman living in Brittany, wich is a peninsula (and a old keltic land) at the western end of France.
And I live in the extreme west of Brittany, so I can say that's the last land before the USA!
I got my first motorbike in 1979 (I turned 49 last week...): a Honda 125, followed by a lot of japanese or italian bikes.
I had to wait for years for my first Harley (they're very expensive in Europe) and got it only 5 years ago: it was a 883.
The second one was a Dyna Low rider, the third a 2007 FLHX.
And I got my 2011 FLHX 103 Ci scarlet red a few days before Christmas: a nice gift, for sure! I love it!
I usualy ride more than 10 000 miles a year, travelling mostly in France but also UK, Spain or Portugal in summer.
I also know some places in the USA: Vermont, Florida, California and even Hawaii.
But the last time I've been in your country was in 1985, I think, when I was much younger than now ( I worked for 2 years as a teacher in Ottawa, Canada).
Of course, I'd like to go back one day, but for the moment I prefer to put my money in my bike rather than in a flight ticket: we'll see later...
