Hi, we're the new people!

We've got 2001 Road King but he had a 57 FLH when we started dating. We have totally had to ride and wrench! He tried to convince me that all bikes rode about as comfortable as that old pan but I grew up on the back of my dad's Electra Glide. It seems like since he has had to work on bikes and deal with them every day riding has lost it's luster. The dinner thing is a good idea though, he takes his food seriously.
So here is another idea, if you can, get a newer bike that he can ride and not wrench. I understand how a mechanic wrenches all day, the last thing he wants to do is wrench when he rides.

Honestly, we don't have to wrench to ride now since we bought the Road King new in 2001. Coming out of the 1950's it still seems new to us. We rode that 57 FLH for years. That is the ride he had to wrench.

You might also suggest a bike picnic on one of these nice weekends. My buddy owns a Big Dog dealership and works on them all day as well but my wife and i get him and his wife out for picnics. Once he started riding again he bought a V-Rod and rides alot again. By the way, Welcome and i hope it works out.
