Default Nervous about new bike

I just bought a used 2003 1200 Sportster with 14,0000 miles.
I'm a new rider. I was told that Sportster id good for starters. I looked at dozens of Harleys but. This bike was CLEAN and Custom. I bought it from a large reputable dealer. Another determining factor is that I was able to finance. My concern is the 14,000 miles. Is that high.

Don't be too concerned about the mileage. 14,000 isn't that high. These engines, when properly maintained, can last upwards of 80,000 and beyond. If you're really worried about it, find a shop you trust and have them perform an all-inclusive service to look for problems. Enjoy the new scoot!!

14,000 miles means you don't have to go through a break-in period. Have fun!
