As **** of care as most of these scoots get these days, yours more than likely has so many more miles in it, you might trade off and up well before it's worn out!

My Evo (1984) had over 200,000 miles on it when I sold it in 04 and was running just fine. Did one top end in all that time.

Sportsters rule.
They're easy to ride and maintain. As others have mentioned 100K miles are within reach.
