Just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi from the sandbox. I am not new to the forum, been a hangaround for a few months and decided to register and post. This forum is a WEALTH of information. I am on my 3rd harley, first 2 were sportsters (99 883 and 06 1200 custom) and now I have pulled the trigger on my retirement present, 2011 limited (cherry and merlot) I was able to put 700 miles on her before I had to return back to the sandbox. Not to offend anyone but going from a sportster to a limited is like going from a fiesta to a mercedes benz,lmao. Don't get me wrong at all, I LOVED my sporties but the ride difference is beyond comparison. This (for now) will be my last major purchase, once I retire in the next couple of years life is going to be hard till I get used to the new surroundings and payday. I have a good feeling that payday is going to get cut in half easy, so life is gonna be tight for a while till I get done doing nothing for the first month or so,lol. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi. ( I have to accumilate postings somehow.) For all my brothers and sisters in arms, stay safe and watch your 6. It will all be over in a few months for all of us, then we go home and get ready to come back,lmao..
