wanted to say hello to everyone. my name is Luke Downing and i live in central Missouri. was registered here a while back but havent been on in a very long time. did a little posting back then but not much. i am looking to hopefully get my first Harley Davidson and looking for any info i can get. i am hopeing to find an older bike that needs some work. i come from the Automotive industry and still work in a new car dealership in the parts department and used to be a technition so i am pretty handy mechanicly so would love to find an older bike with a few problems that i can make a project out of and have a one of a kind bike that i fixed.
hope to be on here a while and maybe in the future get on and ride

Good luck finding a project bike to work on over the winter. Are there places out there where you could buy a bike which is an insurance 'write off' cheaply perhaps or a project bike someone else started work on but which they couldnt or didnt have the time to finish?
