enricher problem

RE: enricher problem
From my experience you should only be using the enrichener to get the bike started. Once the bike is started give it some gas and push the enrichener back in immediately. I beleive your bike should have a throttle lock under the gas grip. Lock the gas with the throttle lock and make sure that enrichener is all the way in. This is the best way to get your bike warmed up, according to all the dealerships I have talked to.
I had issues with leaving the enrichener out too long. If you do this it will foul-out your spark plugs. That is no fun. No power, backfiring. It is just ugly. Everyone has told me to only use the enrichener if yo aboslutely must.
Good Luck

RE: enricher problem
Generally, there is a plastic tensioner nut where the cable goes in to the housing at the ****. You should be able to tighten it slightly and the enricher should stay in the full open position. Only tighten a little at a time and be careful, the nut is plastic.
