Hello all,

I'm not quit a new member. I joined last January when I bought my new 2010 road king. unfortunately my wife and I had an accident on our last day of our honeymoon road trip back in May: hitting a deer while cruising 70mph on I-70 in Kansas... (by the way we're from Florida and the tour was to the grand canyon and back thru Indiana). we were lucky to just break collarbones and not much much worse...
the Road king was declared total loss by the ins. company.

SO, Yesterday , I bought my new 2011 Road Glide Ultra!!!!
I love it!!!! the ride is unbelievably smooth and it actually handles even better than my last road king. it's an amazing bike. love the color: vivd black.

Hope to have it for many years!

The RG's are good looking rides.

If I toured any at all I believe that would bee the one I'd own. Can't cause the wife has med issues.

Thank God Ur encounter with the deer wasn't worse.

Congrats! Glad the accident didn't cause you to give up riding. I have an 02 RKC - always thought the RGs really didn't look that good, but I think the look is starting to appeal to me.

 

Been dying to go to the Grand Canyon. No way the wife is going on the bike. Twenty miles and she's done. Glad you guys are OK. Welcome form NY.
