Howdy and welcome from The Republic! I have a buddy who's getting ready to do the same thing. Congrats on the new ride.

Royce, I will honestly attest to the fact that your buddy will NOT regret it!! I rode solo yesterday over 330 miles over Sonora Pass (backside of Yosemite) & back over Ebbets Pass...two of the most curvaceous & 'technical' roads in the Sierras. I was amazed how composed & predictable the EG was...AND I actually was able to take in the scenery rather than doing nothing but concentrating on the road surface! Got home, no aches & pains (other than my hernia)...certainly a new experience for me. Probably should've made the jump a while back. And, thanks everyone for layin' out the 'Welcome' mat! Much appreciated.

Welcome, but I hope you kept the Ducati for old times sake.

Barnyard...my intention all along was to keep the Duc, however, it just wasn't in the cards. My only gratification is that the new owner is one of my oldest friends...a Ducatisti convert who has another Duc he purchased a few years back because he lusted for my bike throughout the years. I'm confident its in good hands. And, I do have 1st Right of Refusal!
